Entering Your Bills

Entering Your Bills

Bills are simple. You fill in the details of the date etc until you come to the section called “Payment Frequency”.

This is the exciting part… When you choose a frequency, the program takes over and works out each time the bill will occur in the future. This means that the program can guess how much money you will need in the future. (By the way, when the time comes for a bill to be paid you are asked to confirm it and make any changes you'd like.

Have a look at how the program has worked out when the bill will be due. The green buttons allow you to go and change any of the details you want to. If the rent went up then you can change that easily.

The Monthly Report

The Monthly Report

The benefit of having the bills automatically calculated shows up when you want a report of what to expect for the next month etc.

This is my favorite report, as I like to see what is coming up for the next month. There are an endless variety of reports and you will quickly choose the ones that suit you.

At a glance this report shows you the totals for the deposits and payments for the month. (They're right down the bottom.)

You can also see that the balance in the bank account is always positive (green ticks). If the account were to overdraw you'd see red crosses.

JUST THINK - You'll never miss a bill again. Plus you can respond instantly when unexpected events happen!

You may have noticed

  • The screens in the Personality Budgeting Program are clear and uncluttered.
  • There is a “Help” button on every screen. This button takes you to help for that screen.
  • The navigation (moving around the program) uses very simple and clear buttons.
  • The Personality Budgeting Program is designed so people who can turn on a computer have more than enough computing skills to use it.

The result is that for the first time ever you will be able to “enjoy your money” rather than having to worry about it.

NOTE 1: These examples use dollars. You can use the currency of your choice.

NOTE 2: Dates are automatically set to the date format of your computer. This means that for the USA the date is Month/Day/Year and for most of the rest of the world Day/Month/Year. The date format in these examples is Day/Month/Year.
