Use Separate Bank Accounts For Your Bills and Day-To-Day Expenses
Now here's something you'll like to hear… since Bills and Day-To-Day Expenses are different we suggest you keep them in separate bank accounts and record them differently.
Where do they live?
Some expenses are difficult to put as either Bills or Day-To-Day Expenses. You'll have to try them in one account and if they don't work there swap them across.
Did you notice that these underlined expenses vary widely from pay to pay? They are very different from the bills that are so predictable.
We call them your Day-To-Day Expenses as they can vary.
So do you think you should record your Day-To-Day Expenses in the same way you record your Bills? We don't!
That's another difference between Personality Budgeting method of budgeting and other programs.
